Real-Hostels are family-run Swiss hostels. These accommodations (hostels, backpackers, lodges etc.) offer international minimum requirements and extra admission criteria to enable a memorable stay and an inexpensive, transparent and unique holiday experience.
You can expect cheap accommodation rates, cleanliness, originality, charm, ambience, homely atmosphere and “that certain something" of a true Backpackers hostel when booking one of these houses!
In most hostels the motivated owners will take care of you !
Real hostels accommodations are a great alternative to youth-hostels (no membership card required), simple hotels Garni`s, Bed and Breakfast and sleeping on straw!

All hostels meet the following minimum standards:
° well equipped kitchen for guests
° Recreation room with books, games etc. ; no consumer stress
° Dormitory (more than 50% of the total number of beds can be booked individually)
° Reception operated daily for several hours.
° WiFi (mostly free)
° Homely, familiar and original atmosphere
° Information desk (information on opportunities for hiking, swimming, go out for the night and restaurants)
